Arcanum De Profundis
The Arcanum De Profundis or “book of coming up from the depths” is made of etched copper plates bound together with a strap of leather. There is very little text, but what can be read seems to be some sort of primer on the hated art of Necromancy. The rest of the book contains cryptic pictures and dizzying arcane symbols. Mr. Able has discovered that each of the ten pages of the book are a kind of allegory. Each image is a rich lesson to learn and be followed if one were to undertake the dark art…
Reclamation and Reanimation
A soil sample taken from the ruins of an unknown ancient city in the subarctic.
The sample is locked within a stasis device, in a null chamber. In darkness, the sample glows as brightly as a lamp.
Mr. Able has three such samples, each requiring their own unique containment apparatus.

Death Card of an Assassin
This is the framed death card of an illuminati assassin. These cards are traditionally given to illuminatus who have been chosen by the council to be killers to further the cause.
Often, the assassin doesn’t know he has been chosen by the council, and is handed this card either during a card game, or as a social calling card by someone he knows. When the deed is carried out, the card is returned to the order, framed (as we see here) and ritually presented to the new killer as a symbol of his office.
When asked how he came to have this particular card, Mr Able smiled and shook his head.
CHEM of the Golem
After much negotiation with the Kohen, and after a rigorous trial during which I was deeply questioned concerning my certain knowledge of secret things heretofore discussed only among that august brotherhood, the Maharal speaking for the council conceded to turn into my keeping the CHEM of the golem created so long ago by Maharal Judah Loew ben Bezalel. Their one commandment to me, and my promise to them, is that I would bend all my will the secret of the golem, and try to unlock the secret that has eluded them for so long: That the CHEM may give life, as they are the very names of God, but the Golem cannot speak. To this task I will dutifully cleave my attention, in concert with my other research, of course.
Many CHEM were made in those days, and the art was almost lost until Judah Loew ben Bezalel created his giant in prague.
…Incidentally, the respected Sanhedrin there assembled revealed to me an interesting historical revelation. ‘While it is true that we hebrews built the pyramids of Aegypt’ an old scholar said to me late one afternoon over mint tea in the Jewish Quarter, ‘we did not in any way use our own hands.’ He sat back and chuckled to himself, shaking his head. We learned what we could from the old priests of Anubis. We took their secrets south with us. But it was WE who created the Golem. WE learned the secret of the fourfold name, and they wanted it. We made golem for them to build their tombs that you call pyramids, and the king, he would not let us come or go after that. He feared us. He feared our CHEM. He intended to force us to make him an army of golem..’ he smiled at my slyly, putting his finger by his nose ‘Moses t disabused him of this notion.’
